Wiener Schnitzel
Where celebs, locals, and tourists have gathered for over 120 years — just steps from St. Stephen's Cathedral.
Est. 1905
A Viennese Institution, Generation after Generation
The story began when Johann Figlmüller opened the first wine tavern on Wollzeile in 1905. Just around the corner from St. Stephen's Cathedral, he established a place where people have been imbibing, chatting, and eating great for the past 120 years.
A glass of our home-grown wine is the perfect accompaniment to our interpretation of the Wiener Schnitzel — which has not only become the house special, but also a symbol of the city of Vienna.

Our Own Vineyard
Wine, Grown in Vienna
Figlmüller cultivates its own vineyards in the hills above Vienna. The Grüner Veltliner and Riesling we pour are grown by the same family that has been feeding Vienna for over a century.
